In addition to electrodiagnostic services, EMG and Rehabilitation Physicians also sees patients for diagnostic evaluation and treatment of a variety of conditions including neck pain, back pain, peripheral joint and limb pain, both acute and chronic and including sports-related injuries. Neck pain and back pain are not uncommonly associated with involvement of the nerves as they exit the spine (pinched nerve in the neck or back) and these conditions also are often responsive to measures which may be provided by physiatrists. Neck pain, back pain and pain involving the major joints of the body are frequently associated with osteoarthritis for which physical medicine and rehabilitation treatment may be appropriate. Following evaluation, our physicians will recommend and coordinate appropriate treatment as needed using a holistic approach which also focuses on preventive measures.
